Regardless of the make and model of your Android smartwatch, you’ll find the associated phone number in the Settings app. Apple Watch users can find the number associated with their device in the Settings app by going to the About menu.

The number associated with your smartwatch is only for AT&T’s billing and support purposes. You can’t make calls, receive texts, or use data. To do that, you must associate the primary number from your phone plan with your watch through AT&T’s NumberSyncservice. You can then take calls, text, and use data even if your phone isn’t nearby or is powered off.
AT&T creates a Cloud inbox as part of the NumberSync process if you don’t have one, which automatically syncs messages between your phone and watch.
