While Aesha, who originally appeared onBelow Deck Medbefore moving toBelow Deck Down Underfor a time, has been a major source of calming energy for the charter, things could change quickly if she’s genuinely hurt. In my experience, when it forms a line like that it is usually a sign of infection…it feels like there’s still some glass in there.”Captain Sandy advised Aesha in the clip that she should head to a hospital ashore for treatment, knowing that could spell drama for the interior crew if Aesha can’t return to Mustique.

Aesha Scott Leaving Below Deck Med Would Be Catastrophic
During the preview clip,Captain Sandy shared in an interview that Aesha leaving the charter could cause serious issuesaboard Mustique, even though she advised her to head ashore for treatment.“If…I can’t have her work the charter, it would be catastrophic,”Captain Sandy shared.“The deck team is still finding their feet and we haven’t had the greatest last charter with the chef. I don’t need my interior to fall apart.”Captain Sandy explained that the exterior team, headed up by Bosun Iain Maclean, has been struggling on their own, while the interior team has been thriving under Aesha.
Should Aesha’s cut be infected and require treatment that keeps her from getting back aboard Mustique, Captain Sandy’s worry is entirely valid that it could cause the crew to buckle. The exterior team has been struggling tremendously under the poor management of Bosun Iain, which has led to some dangerous mistakes being made in the first two charters. On top of the exterior issues, the Captain has had to deal witha poor performance from Chef Johnathan Shillingford, as well. Without a Chief Stew she trusts,Captain Sandy would have to rebuild her crew on the fly.

Whileit’s more likely than not that Aesha will be okaymoving into the next charter, having her injury looked at and assessed is important. Captain Sandy has always put the safety of her crew and guests over anything else. With that notion, having Aesha’s cut treated is imperative, butthe position it could put Captain Sandy inmay not be the best. While there is still plenty of time forBelow Deck Mediterraneanto sort out the charter, losing Aesha would be difficult, and potentially something the charter couldn’t come back from this season.
