Despite their reputation asone ofFallout 4’s fodder enemies, players shouldn’t underestimate Mole Rats, especially when they’re encountered at higher levels. A Glowing Mole Rat can be annoying for those who don’t want to deal with an increase in their rad level but arguably the most annoying variant is the Rabid Mole Rat.This critter comes equipped with a poison-like ability that can deal damage over time, meaning the Sole Survivor will want toput down these beasts from as far awayas possible.
Yet the most dangerous form of Mole Rat inFallout 4is undoubtedly the “Suicide” variantwhich charges at the player with a set of fragmentation mines strapped to its back. When they get too close, the explosives detonate, destroying the carrier but also unleashing a severe amount of damage on anyone and anything in the vicinity. It’s unclear who’s setting up the Mole Rats for such a vicious demise but it’s presumed that Raiders are responsible.
Whatever form the Mole Rat may take inFallout 4,the radioactive creatures are some of the most iconic enemies in the entire franchise.
