Yoda Is Already A Revered Jedi Grand Master In The Acolyte
Yoda’s Age Is Proven By His Acolyte Credentials
DuringThe Acolyte, Yoda is still the Grand Master of the Jedi Order as he was in theStar Warsprequels. While it is unclear exactly when he was dubbed the Grand Master, it is clear that this has been a role he has held for a long time. This is evidenced by his age, withYoda being around 760 years old during the time ofThe Acolyte.
Yoda was born around 900 years before theStar Warsoriginal trilogy, in 896 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin). During the beginning of the High Republic Era, Yoda was around 400 years old, already possessing the title of Jedi Grand Master. Centuries later, the story ofThe Acolytetakes place, leading Yoda into his journey in theStar Warsprequel trilogy.

Yoda Is 100 Years Older In The Phantom Menace
A Century After The Acolyte, The Skywalker Saga Begins
The opening text ofThe Acolyteepisode 1 reveals that the show takes place 100 years beforeStar Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. This means that the former takes place in 132 BBY, as the latter begins in 32 BBY. Concerning Yoda, his age between the two is fairly simple:Yoda is exactly a century older than he was inThe AcolyteduringThe Phantom Menace.
If Yoda was around 760 years old inThe Acolyte, he would have been around 860 inThe Phantom Menace. This tracks with what else is known of Yoda’s age fromReturn of the Jedi.In the final original trilogy film, Yoda mentions he is almost 900 years old. This film takes place 36 years afterThe Phantom Menace, lining Yoda’s age up nicely. While he is certainly younger inThe Acolyte, it is unclear how active a role he will take in the potential story of season 2.
