How to Invite People to Collaborator on Your Wix Site on Desktop
Unless you’re building something like aportfolio website on Wixfor yourself, you might want collaborators. To add them, go to theWix websiteand sign into your account. SelectSettingson the left side menu, and then click onRoles & Permissionsin the right panel.
ClickInvite Peoplein the top right corner of the screen.

Next, enter the email addresses (up to 10) of the people you want to invite. Then, scroll through theRole(s)section and assign the roles you want the collaborator(s) to have by ticking the appropriate checkboxes. Finally, clickSend Invitein the top right corner to send the invite(s).
The people should get the invite in their respective emails. Once they accept it, Wix will notify you that you’ve added them to the site. If they don’t have a Wix account yet, they’ll have to create one. And you don’t even need to publish your website to invite people, as you can do it even as youbuild your Wix site.

How to Invite a Collaborator to Your Wix Site on Mobile
Start by downloading theWix Owner iOS appor theWix Owner Android appand open it. TapManage– the three vertical dots – in the bottom right corner of the screen. Then, scroll down to theSettingssection and tapRoles & Permissions.
TapCollaborators, and on the next screen, tapInvite Others. Then, enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite, tap on the roles you want the collaborator(s) to have in theChoose Rolessection, and clickSendin the top right corner when you’re done.

Now, wait for the people to accept the invitation to become a member of your site.
How to Assign and Manage Roles on Wix
With time, the roles of your contributors will change, and the nice thing about Wix is that you can assign new roles or adjust the existing ones. You can make these changes on desktop and the Wix Owner app.
On Desktop
Go to the Wix website and log into your account. SelectSettingson the left side menu, and then click onRoles & Permissionsin the right panel. Click thethree dotsnext to the name of a collaborator and selectChange Rolein the menu.
Select the roles you want to add or remove by clicking on the appropriate checkboxes. Then, clickSavein the top right corner when you’re done.

Now you’ve updated a collaborator’s roles and permissions.
Open the Wix Owner app and tap onManagein the bottom right corner of the screen. Scroll down to theSettingssection and tapRoles & Permissions. Then, tapCollaborators.

In theCollaboratorssection, tap thethree dotsnext to a collaborator’s name, and then tapChange Rolein the menu that appears. Add or remove roles by tapping on them, and then tapSavein the top right corner of the screen when you’re done.
How to Remove a Contributor on Wix
Sometimes, when people’s roles change on the site, it could mean that you have to part ways. If that’s the case, you should remove them from your Wix site (it’s also a good idea for security reasons).
Go to the Wix website and log into your account. SelectSettingson the left side menu, and then click onRoles & Permissionsin the right pane.
Click thethree dotsnext to the name of the collaborator and selectRemovein the menu that appears. ClickRemovein the pop-up.
That member will now disappear from your Wix site.
Open the Wix Owner app and tap onManagein the bottom right corner of the screen. Scroll down to theSettingssection and tapRoles & Permissions. Then, tap onCollaborators.
In theCollaboratorssection, tap on thethree dotsnext to the collaborator’s name and tapRemovein the menu that appears. Then tapRemovein the pop-up.
