TheTime Variance Authorityfrom Marvel’sLokiseries will introduce Miss Minutes, as well as otherMCUcharacters to the comics for the first time in a new series. The newTVAcomic series will feature Spider-Gwen, Captain Carter and other heroes displaced from their home universes joining the agency.

Marvelannounced the new comic at San Diego Comic-Con.TVAwill be a five-issue limited series written by Katharyn Blair and drawn by Pere Perez.Blair is one of the writers of theLokiseries on Disney+ that introduced the TVA to a wider audience. The TVA originally debuted in 1986’sThor#372, but the agency’s popularity has since skyrocketed following its debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, resulting in this comic series. The series will debut in December.

The TVA Is Getting Its Own Comic Series

The Time Variance Authority is comprised of Marvel’s resident officers and observers of the Marvel multiverse, tasked with ensuring that universes too dangerous to exist are neutralized and/or eliminated as swiftly as possible. The TVA sparked a quick interest from audiences after first appearing inLoki.With MCU fans quickly enamored with the world of the TVA, that was enough to justify the group having a more expanded role within the comics. By the same sword, as the TVA appear more frequently and are active in Marvel’s comic storylines, the official Marvel canon has introducedOwen Wilson and Ke Huy Quan’s charactersas its main figureheads.

More recently, the TVA has taken an active role in Spider-Gwen’s life asshe transitions into Earth-616’s timeline. As a result, it seems appropriate that the Ghost Spider will be appearing in the TVA’s new comic series. The exact same thing can be said for the character of Miss Minutes, who some MCU viewers may be surprised to learn was a character created specifically for theLokiseries.Miss Minutes' role inTVAwill officially canonize her into Marvel Comics' Earth-616 continuity.
