One PieceChapter #1131, “Loki in the Underworld”, continues from the cliffhanger of the previous issue with Luffy showing excitement over getting confirmation of being on the land of the giants. Luffy rambles about his excitement over reaching the island, not giving an opening to let the chained-up Loki speak. Frustrated, Loki yells at Luffy, demanding that he listen.Loki goes on to refer to himself as the legendary Sun God, projecting his presence by looking down on Luffy as a mere human and insisting that he grasp the gravity of the situation.

Loki reveals that he’s been chained to the Adam Tree with the sea prism stone for six years. In his desperation, he proposes a deal to Luffy: in exchange for freeing him, Loki promises to help Luffy eliminate a pirate crew of his choice. Attempting to intimidate Luffy, Loki even mentions the giant animals of the underworld—only to find that Luffy has already tamed them. Luffy’s attention, however, is quickly diverted when Loki’s followers mention Shanks.

Zoro readies himself to fight upon noticing that the giants are carrying their ship, the Thousand Sunny.
