1. Manage Online Accounts via the 1Password App
If you have a Families account with 1Password, and hold the role of Family Organizer, you can now conduct common management tasks from the 1Password desktop and smartphone apps.
This doesn’t mean the Family Organizer can see all the passwords of other members (unless the passwords are being stored in a Shared Vault). Rather, this new feature lets the Family Organizer add new members, and send or cancel account invitations.
2. Seamless Browser Logins
There’s no longer just one way to sign in to online accounts, and 1Password knows this. Whether you prefer using a typical password, passkey, or a third-party authentication app, 1Password can support you.
This is because 1Password can now remember your preferred login method, and automatically apply it each time you want to access an account.
Along with this new feature comes the ability to auto-fill your name on websites, making it that much easier to fill out long pages of information fields.
3. Passkeys
Passwords are the most common form of private login credentials, but passkeys are becoming increasingly popular too.
A passkey removes the need for plaintext passwords, serving as virtual credentials that can be linked to online accounts.Passkeys can be much safer than passwords. Using biometric verification, PIN swipe patterns, or QR codes, one can log in seamlessly with a passkey, avoiding the need for typing in a specific password. Passkeys use public-key cryptography to authenticate logins automatically and securely, making the process more convenient while maintaining security.
Unlike traditional passwords, passkeys cannot be stolen, as they don’t represent a single piece of replicable, tangible information. For instance, if you’re using biometric authentication, the only way to access your account would be through your physical input. Such a method cannot be replicated by someone else, making it much harder to hack your accounts.

4. Amazon and Discord Support
