What few toys that are shown to be wandering the halls are clearly dirty and disheveled, acting in an incredibly feral manner as they violently attack and eat each other. It seems thatthe transformed children that are trapped in the lower levels of the factory have completely lost their sense of humanityafter being turned into toys, and have since resorted to tearing each other apart as they give in to darker thoughts. It is clear that players will be coming face-to-face with these feral toys as they explore, and must avoid meeting a similar horrific fate.

Besides the familiar faces from previous chapters,Poppy Playtime Chapter 4has revealed some new monsters that players will encounter during the course of the story.The teaser trailer shows a small black sheep toy attacking a helpless DogDay, ripping it apart before staring directly at the viewer with an unsettling smile as it is revealed to be surrounded by the scattered corpses of various other toys. Although the Steam page has made mention of players being able to gain brand-new allies, this sheep is seemingly not going to be one of them.
After the release of the teaser trailer, images were uploaded to X (formerly Twitter) byMob Entertainment, revealing more information about this new monster, including its name and personality. The sheep is simply known as Baba Chops, andshe is a member of a new group of toys known as the Nightmare Critters. Although she seems to prefer being isolated from others, the teaser trailer clearly shows that she is not afraid to lash out and attack if provoked.
