Summary
Krobus may be one of the most popular characters inStardew Valleybutplayers should think twice before moving in with him, especially when it comes to his questionable sense of style. Unlike many of the other Pelican Town citizens, the Farmer is unable to put a ring on Krobus' finger and while a marriage option may not happen in a future update, ConcernedApe at least allows players to share a living space with the strange entity. Instead of good morning kisses, Krobus receives a friendly hug and while that’s adorable, his decor is less appealing.
Per a Reddit post by userSillyZubat, theStardew Valleyplayer spotlights a hilarious incident of Krobus doing his best to decorate his shared homeby installing flooring that doesn’t match any of the other furniture in the kitchen.

Taking it in their stride, rather than replace Krobus' effortsSillyZubat instead remodels the kitchen to better suit the updated floor design and the result is a suitably “dark academic” design. Just goes to show that while Krobus is fun to live with, his general understanding of Feng shui leaves much to be desired.

How To Move In With Krobus In Stardew Valley
Just Don’t Call It A Wedding Present
Much like the other eligible characters inStadew Valley, to start a (platonic) life with Krobus players must first put in the time toearn his friendship. This is done byhanding over dozens of giftsover the weeks and the friendly monster has some strange likes indeed.Krobus adores anything related to Void, so dropping off Void Eggs and Void Mayonnaise is the keyto his heart but players who want to expedite the process further can win him over with plenty of Iridium Bars.
Once players have maxed out their friendship with Krobus they’re ready for the next step in their relationship: Moving in together. To unlock this, theFarmer must head to Calico Desert, specifically to the Desert Trader, and exchange 200 Void Essence for the Void Ghost Pendant. Presenting this to the monster serves as an invitation to become roommates and if he ever becomes too much, he can simply be evicted with Lewis' book in his manor.

Once Krobus moves into the player’s house, he’s more than happy to helplook after any children the Farmer may havefrom previous marriages but just know that if he is evicted then he’ll refuse to accept any more gifts. Of course, giving him free rein in the house allows him to change whatever pieces of furniture he likes, such as the aforementioned floor. You can take Krobus out of the sewers but not the sewers out of Krobus.
