The co-creator also shared a photo of the show’s entire cast and crew, coupled with a set video of Finn Wolfhard dropping a marble into a bowl, seemingly keeping track of how many weeks they are into filming, with week 24 serving as the halfway point.

SinceStranger Thingsseason 5 is currently halfway through filming,the latest update provides a clearer picture of when the episodes will finish production and eventually premiere. After a substantial delay due to the writers and actors strikes in 2023, season 5 officially started filming earlier this year on January 8. From that point until now, it’s been approximately 24 weeks which, as revealed by Ross Duffer’s post, marks the halfway point for filming.
With this timetable in mind, it’s relatively easy to speculate about whenStranger Thingsseason 5 will finish filming.In another 24 weeks from today, it will be mid-December, which is approximately when production should wrap. However, this is assuming that season 5 runs on schedule.Stranger Thingscastmember Maya Hawke has suggested that filming isn’t progressing as previously hoped, saying “I bet it will go late.” Considering that filming should run into the holiday season, there should be some breaks in the production process.
