How to contact a seller using the product listing page

The product listing page is perfect for contacting sellers before placing an order, but you can also use it after making a purchase. Go to Amazon.com, find a specific product, and speak to the seller. Alternatively, if you have a particular seller in mind, navigate to their storefront if they have one, find the product, and contact them from there.

How to connect through the Orders page

If you placed an order and have issues with it or wish to contact the seller regarding the item, theOrders pageis a good place to start.

If your order was delivered, you can request a return, exchange, or refund by clicking theReturn or replace itemsbutton. If the seller handles these transactions, Amazon connects you with them. You can also rate the seller or drop a comment about your shopping experience using theLeave seller feedbackbutton. This option is available for up to 90 days after the date of your order.

Communicate with buyer/seller messages

If you previously contacted a seller via any of the previous two methods, you can continue the conversation with Amazon’s Buyer/Seller Messaging service. Here’s how:

If you use the Amazon app, tap thehamburger buttonin the lower-right corner of the screen and navigate toAccount>Message center>Your Messages>Buyer/Seller Messages.

Whichever method you use to reach the seller, you may not get an immediate reply. You may need to wait 48 hours for them to get back to you. Throughout the process, Amazon sends your messages to sellers via an Amazon.com email, ensuring your privacy is never compromised.

Sit back and wait for a reply

If you’re unsure whether a product is for you or experience an issue with an order, reaching out to the seller is an important step toward getting the assistance you need. Use Amazon’s product listing page to contact sellers before placing an order, and use the Orders page if you bought an item and have trouble with it. If you need to pick up a conversation from where you left off, the buyer/seller messaging option is available.

While reaching sellers on the platform is easy, contacting Amazon’s customer servicedirectly is a bit tricky. Our guide shows how to phone, email, or chat them up in cases of emergency.
