Which color Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should you buy?
It’s late to the party, butthe Samsung Galaxy S21 FEis finally up for grabs after months of delays and speculations. The proverbial apple doesn’t fall far from the tree (the Galaxy S21) especially in terms of design and aspects like performance camera, as noted inour review. If you’ve already decided to get one, you’re probably a bit confused about which colorway to pick.
There’s no consensus on something so subjective, but it’s always good to have a bunch of them to choose from. This time around, Samsung has a limited variety of colors to offer – only four compared to thesix fun onesthe S20 FE was available in – and they’re Graphite, White, Lavender, and Olive.

It shouldn’t take more than a glance at all these colors to realize that Lavender indeed is the most striking of the lot. The pastel offers just the right balance of vibrancy and sophistication, setting itself apart in a sea of drab-looking phones without going over the top. If you don’t intend to slap a case on your phone, this is the color you’d want to flaunt.
The Olive colorway draws mixed opinions. You might like the muted color that sits in between green and brown, but I don’t feel too strongly about it. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say it’s not the best green in which Samsung has draped a phone in; take a look at theCloud Mintand thePhantom Greencolorways of the S20 FE and the Z Fold3, respectively, and you’ll know what I mean. But if you appreciate this earthy, pea-soup tone, you do you.

White is a timeless color that exudes sophistication and that couldn’t be truer in this case. The black camera sensors lend a nice contrast, and if you’re big on accessories, it should be really easy to mix and match with the white variant. However, if you plan to use the phone without a case, know that white plastic could be a little difficult to maintain–it’s easy to stain it.
If you’re someone who can’t get rid of blacks from your wardrobe, you probably already have your eyes on the Graphite color. The hue is not as intense as thePhantom Black S21 Ultrabut is a tinge darker than thePhantom Gray S21, and I dig the clean, matte finish. If you’re a fan of understated design or just love the fact that black can be paired with almost anything, you can’t go wrong with this one. Either way, it’s one of thebest Android phonesyou can buy.

If you ask me,the Lavender colorway is the one that has my attention, but the best color for you is the one that rings your chimes. While the S21 FE’s spread of colors doesn’t have the pizzazz the S20 FE’s had, it’s not all that bad. It’s also good knowing that you’re only a case (and there are plenty of good ones) or skin away from truly making it yours.
