This is because the character already exists in the Amazon seriesBosch, which began airing in 2014.
Bosch’s absence inThe Lincoln Lawyeris becoming more noticeable, but so far, the legal drama has done a good job of adapting the stories so that Bosch’s character isn’t needed. This would have been extremely difficult with Connelly’s third book, “The Reversal”, in which Bosch plays a much larger role. Netflix’sThe Lincoln Lawyerskipped over this story for that reason.
