Noah Centineo returns in the new trailer forXO, Kittyseason 2, reprising his role as Peter Kavinsky. A spinoff of the popularTo All The Boysmovietrilogy, based on the Jenny Han books, the teen romantic dramedy debuted in May 2023. Taking place two years after the conclusion of the movies, the spinoff centers on Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, the younger sister of Lana Condor’s Lara Jean, as she steps into the spotlight and starts her own journey to find true love.XO, Kittyseason 2was renewed only a month after its premiere, with production beginning in April 2024.

Netflixhas now unveiled the trailer forXO, Kittyseason 2,ahead of the show’s return with new episodes on January 16. The two-minute trailer previews Kitty Song wanting to turn a new leaf after the hectic and ever-evolving events of season 1. But when she seems to be struggling a bit,she gets a surprise visit and a pep talk from Centineo’s Peter Kavinsky.

There Are New Romantic Developments

The upcoming installment will follow Kitty as she’s about tostart a newhigh school phase and a new semesterat the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS). The main character acknowledges that, in the past, her time at school was filled with drama. But for now, Kitty says she’s ready tofocus on her classes and find out who her mom really was.

The returningXO, Kittycast includes Minyeong Choi (Dae), Gia Kim (Yuri), Sang Heon Lee (Min Ho), Anthony Keyvan (Q), Peter Thurnwald (Alex), and Regan Aliyah (Juliana), with Audrey Huynh, Sasha Bhasin, and Joshua Lee joining the ensemble.

Following theXO, Kittyseason 1 finale, Kitty reveals that she’sstill not over Yuri and is unsure of her next romantic steps. Although many of the supportingcharacters have distinct relationship developments, there are only hints of what’s ahead for each after the whirlwind between Kitty and Dae.
