Terrifier 2once again follows Art the Clownas he’s resurrected after the events of the first film. This time around, he’s joined by a young girl clown, the Little Pale Girl (Amelie McLain), who helps literally carve a path through Miles County. He also meets Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera), a teenager who may be the only one capable of stopping him.Terrifier 2is a throwback to grindhouse horrorwith creative and gory kills, but it doesn’t skimp on story either. In a nod to its ’70s and ’80s grindhouse roots,Terrifier 2is available in a classic format: VHS.

TheTerrifier 2VHS was released in a special sale on December 27th, 2022at noon EST, available on theWitter Entertainmentwebsite. Witter Entertainment specializes in creating VHS copies of horror movies, generally of the cult and B-movie variety. Three different versions of the VHS were released: a standard edition in a black clamshell case with art by Creepy Duck Design, a big box variant with art by Sam Coyne, and an Art Crispies book-style big box with a flip-open cover. Each version includes exclusive VHS-only introductions by Damien Leone.

For optimal viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio of 1.78:1 to 4:3 full frame. The VHS tapes were officially licensed from Cinedigm (the distributor) and Screambox (the streaming platform) and approved by Leone. Witter Entertainment limited purchasers to one of each variant. By now, every version is out-of-stock, meaning horror collectors and VHS faithful will need to look elsewhere.

In August 04, 2025, horror film websiteBloodyDisgustingshared an Instagram post showcasing their new curated horror fan shops available in 3000 Walmart locations (viaComicBook). Horror fans soon discovered that the shop held a VHS version ofTerrifier 2. This is only available at Walmart and is a two-cassette collector’s item. However,it is not the same VHS cassettes found on the Witter Entertainment site, as they are quick to remind at the top of theTerrifier 2shop page,
“THIS IS NOT THE WALMART EXCLUSIVE TERRIFIER 2 DOUBLE CASSETTE RELEASE.
That is currently rolling out to Walmarts nationwide and must be purchased in stores.”
The two-cassette VHS was being sold for $29.99 though most have likely been sold considering they are available oneBayfor upwards of $65. Speaking of eBay, it’s the last option for people who still want a Witter Entertainment VHS. TheseTerrifer 2VHS tapes aren’t cheap.The Standard editioncan be found for $99.99,the Big Box editionbegins at around $111, andthe Art Crispies Book Box editionbegins at around $130. There are plenty of opportunities for horror fans to add this cult classic niche item to their collection — it just may cost them a bit.

Picking up one year after where the original film left off, Terrifier 2 again sees Art, a serial killer clown, return to Miles County to bring terror and murder. After mutilating the survivor of the first film Victoria Hayes and committing suicide at the end of the first film, Art is brought back from the dead by a mysterious evil being. Newly resurrected, Art sets his sights on two new victims, siblings Sienna and Jonathan, during Halloween. Unfortunately, the two siblings must do their best to survive another terrifying ordeal with an evil that can’t seem to stay dead. David Howard Thornton reprises his role as the titular clown.
